The week is officially over.

Great. Finally! This week was very, very hard.

First, on Monday, once I got back from school (wait, I didn’t even come back!) I went to Micaela’s house to cook ‘empanadas’ (they are small meat pies - see Wikipedia’s entry about empanadas - Argentinean empanadas) to sell in Tuesday’s food fair (in every report handing over we make a food fair to collect money for our trip - that’s gonna be in October 22nd!). I came back around seven o’clock in the afternoon.

On Tuesday, when I came back from school, I ate quickly and went to my English lessons. From there, me and a friend went to gym lessons. Once the lesson finished, we went to Samantha’s house, picked the empanadas and went to school to put up our stands for the fair. We stayed there up to 9pm. We made around ar$260 (that’s not too much - we needed around ar$250 more!).

On Wednesday (thank god we leave early school on Wednesdays!), Micaela and I came to my house after school to finish a painting related to 9/11. We did it and it looked very good (I suck at painting, so I was quite proud of it, lol). We went to school to hand in it. And we have to stay there because we have our Computer Studies lessons on Wednesday’s afternoons. Once it finished, we went to Micaela’s house to make some homework (that we didn’t do after all, lol). I left pretty late.

Yesterday was 21st September, and Spring started here! It was also ‘el día del estudiante’ (Student’s Day.), so school was suspended and we went to walk (actually to ride my new bike - I got it on Wendnesday) and meet with other friends. I had a good time, indeed.

Today, I didn’t even bother go to school (I had planned this almost 5 months ago). Today Davis Cup started again! Argentina-Australia! Micaela and Laura (two friends of mine) came to my house early in the morning to watch it, and they left around 7pm! LOL Micaela and I (and my mum, of course) went to school to have my report. :D My teacher is awesome and gave us a CD with a great video of us he made to each one of us. I admire him so much.
I came a couple of hours ago, and I can say now my hard week is officially over.

Edit: Meep, I edited the time format, I thought 19:00 (21:00, 14:00, etc) was an international format… (?) nevermind, I changed it! Thanks Brittney!

Oh my, I’m just so totally writing off the Argentina/Australia tie. Despite being an Aussie, I have zero interest in Lleyton and Mark, but uh…yay for Espana! ;) Go Rafa!

Great site! Keep up the good work!

First of all I have to tell you that I love this layout. :)
Wow, you seem to be really busy! Good luck with rasing more money.

First of all: Awesome layout and content! I’m totally addicted to FL’s too and need to organize it, kind of like you did… Ahhh yes wonderful :]
Second of all: Spring just started? Here I’m freezing my toes off!!
And last: Well, people should just use the 19:00 clock everywhere, because at least it’s clear. I get so confused with 12 am or 12 pm, would you say 12:30 pm or 0:30? See, that’s weird! Just say 00:30 and 23:30 and 00:00 and 12:30 and well you get the point ;]
Greetz,
Vief

Whooo, busy busy week for you :)

Good luck raising more money, and have fun on that trip! I remember selling stuff just to go to Chicago, that was the worst because in the end we didn’t even get to go because of something going wrong with the planning.

Your week sounded busier than mine was >.

Ack, I don’t know why my entire comment didn’t show up /=

The part that cut off was how it’s weird that it’s spring over there, because fall just started here. I hope you’re able to raise enough money, too [=
