Smells Like Fan

No, no, I am not crazy! It’s just I am listening to a song called Smells Like Phunk by The Black Eyed Peas, and I had no title for the post, so, why not use something like it? Fan, because, well, I am a freaky fan of too much things, one of those “things” is Black Eyed Peas, keep reading. ;)

Last friday (ehm, no wait, not this friday, the other one, 17th November, lol) I went to the concert. I have to say it was awesome, and I spent a great time! I had never been in the ‘real action’ in a concers (going to the camp), I had always been sit, lol. This time was different and it was crazy! I almost die there. When we arrived (it was a festival, so there were a lot of bands), we saw some random bands (on Friday, the bigger ones were Madness, The Rasmus and Black Eyed Peas - I’d have loved to see The Rasmus, but they were at the same time as BEP, and in another stage) in different stages (there were 3 big ones, and some other but not that important). My dad wanted to watch Carlinhos Brown (a brazilian musician), so we were in that stage till it ended (around half past nine). It was great, too much salsa! We danced and had lots of fun. I wanted to be early in the BEP’s stage (I was there an hour earlier than supposed, lol) so I went there and “waited” while seeing Madness, we were at the middle, so so. Then the place started to get “crowdy” (is that a word? lol), and it was getting difficult to move (imagine the situation), then some people who tried to go nearier the stage started pushing, you don’t know how much I hated that people, lol. About ten minutes before BEP went out, there was a big tsunami of people coming to where I was and started pushing, and can you believe this? I got dragged by the crowd to the nearest part of the stage and lost my dad and sister! I desesperated a bit, but we had arranged a place to meet at the end of the show, if someone had gotten lost. When I finally could breath and the crowd of people stopped moving (oh well, they didn’t, they just stopped doing it so violently), I realized I was about 15 metres far from the stage!! I was so close! Then they started out with Hey Mama *cough*shamelessplug*cough*, and the descontrol started. I jumped and sang like crazy! It was amazing! The place was boiling (the weather was so hot, to make things easier), and I found breathing difficult sometimes, I had to jump high to catch ‘cold’ air, lol. (I was also full of taller people than me :( so imagine how high I had to jump, lol). The thing that I didn’t like at all, was seeing how much people fainted in front of me, of people who falled and no one cared to help them. That was awful.
In a moment I found a shoe in the ground, so I put it high with my arm, and a girl said to me ‘threw it ahead, a guy was looking for a shoe’, so I did it. A couple of seconds later, I saw the same shoe, flying to the stage! I think Fergie and Taboo stared at it, for half second, lol.
Haha, I was sure that Fergie would have her own time to sing songs from her new album, first London Bridge and then she sang my favourite song of The Dutchess, Fergalicious (fanlisting upcoming ;) ). I was the only one from the people around me who knew the song, and the complete song. I danced and sang like crazy that song. People stared at me like saying ‘OMG, poor little crazy lady’, haha, but I didn’t mind at all!

I have some photos, but they weren’t taken from where I was, but where my dad and my sister were. I may post some soon (they aren’t that much, though, I guess they are 5 as much). Dad recordered like 5 videos! Haha, that’s awesome! But they’re too heavy to upload them, sorry. :( I just uploaded one to YouTube, but it’s marked as private, as I am not very comfortable with a lot of people watching it (not you guys! I’d love to give you the link, but you have to have an account and be allowed to watch it - tell me your username if you wanna watch it and I’ll happilly set the permissions so you can watch it!), but the general YouTube public. How I wish YouTube had a special option so only people who you give the link can view it :( Oh, well!
Then, on Saturday, they showed the show on TV, not all, just the best parts, and I swear I saw myself twice! I couldn’t believe it, but I am sure it was me! I was extremly close, whoa! Watching it on TV realized how much people went, seriously, it was full, an incredibly amount of people. Thousands for sure, but seeing it on TV seems like there were millions, lol. Of course, when you’re there you don’t even stop to think how many people are, nor even care!

So there stops the BEP talk, lol. I spent all the past week at home, sick. I just went on Tuesday, because I had two exams. But I missed three more exams, I wasn’t good at all to go to school. I even had to see my doctor twice because I wasn’t getting any better. However, now I am fine and went to school today. I had to do two of the exams I missed last week (both approved, both with 8 - eight from 1 to 10 ’scale’), plus an English test, for the one I didn’t bother studying. I got a 10 (that would be an A, right?). So it’s all good. Luckily, school ends this Friday (it’ll surely end before!), and I won’t attend again till March of next year, yay! I can’t believe how fast the year went by. Incredible. Then on 12nd December, I’ll be receiving a medal, because it’s our last year - I’ll start High School next year. And hopefully, the 16th, I’ll be having my final English exam at the institute. They are always scary, lol.
Nothing else to say, I think… See you! *big hug*

Ooh, wow!! Congrats on your first real non-sitting concert. I go to rock concerts so I know what you mean by the pushing and not being able to breath!! Yey for concerts! :]

Ahh, and I love this layout! It’s very pretty. :]

That’s exactly why I always go to the back-highest part of whatever-any-concert-is-held. xD
I’ve gone to over 3 concerts in House of Blues and I always stay in the same spot, if I move, I get squished x_x
I’m glad you got to see your favorite musicians on concert, I’m still waiting for Placebo and The Rasmus to come to Florida, they came to other parts of the US but not here ;_;

I really love this layout! Anyways, I’m glad you had fun at the concert. The only concerts I go to are classical and jazz. Heh, I’m a loser.
